The permit filing comes only months after All’Antico Vinaio made its first foray into the Nashville market, with plans to debut at the Paseo South Gulch mixed-use development, as previously reported by What Now Nashville.

The acclaimed sandwich shop was founded in Florence in 1989 by the Mazzanti family. CEO Tommaso Mazzanti guided the brand through its leap to the U.S. in 2021, when it opened a spot in New York City. It now has locations in New York City, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

The menu includes unique sandwich offerings like the La Favolosa, which features salame toscana, pecorino cream, artichoke cream and spicy eggplant, and La Dante, which features capocollo, stracchino, truffle cream and arugula.

A representative with the company told What Now Nashville that while they cannot provide many details at this time, they are planning to open next year and plan to begin construction soon.
