Another Broken Egg Cafe is opening another location in Middle Tennessee, with four more on the way. Franchisee Max Coyle and his father-in-law are behind these latest locations.
What Now Nashville conducted an email Q&A with Coyle.
“We’re looking forward to bringing Another Broken Egg Cafe to the market because there is not really any other concept that fits this niche in Bellevue,” said Coyle. “We have several friends in the area who are excited for us to open and to have a chance to try Another Broken Egg Cafe’s Southern-inspired breakfast, brunch and lunch offerings.”
Coyle is a native of Nashville. Coyle has extensive experience working in restaurants as well as in management as the COO of Daily Dental in Nashville. He is eager to translate his expertise into running Another Broken Egg Cafe.
In fact, Coyle and his father-in-law have committed to open five total cafes across Middle Tennessee, starting in Bellevue and stretching over to Murfreesboro. They plan to open all five locations over the course of the next few years.
“Our cafe is in a fantastic location with heavy foot traffic in the One Bellevue Place shopping complex, just off U.S. 70,” said Coyle. “We’ll have a relatively large cafe compared to other Another Broken Egg Cafe locations with about 4,700 square feet holding around 185 seats for guests. Our cafe will also include an expansive full bar, patio seating and a private dining room.”
Permits filed with Metro refer to the construction projects as a first-generation tenant build-out. New HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems will be installed in the space. Coyle described the space as a first-generation “dark shell” space, so he and his team essentially had a blank canvas to work with for designing the space. Construction began last week.
“We feel honored to help the brand grow into Middle Tennessee,” said Coyle. “Another Broken Egg Cafe is expanding across the country and recently celebrated the opening of its 100th cafe in Tyler, Texas. The brand has an amazing franchise community as well and we’re excited to be part of its continued growth.”
According to a recent press release from Another Broken Egg Cafe, Another Broken Egg Cafe is the largest, actively franchising brand in the brunch category. The franchise has a presence in 16 states currently and just crossed the threshold of having 100 locations. Per Google Maps, the brand currently has three locations in the greater Nashville area.
The location in Bellevue is expected to open this fall.
