According to recent building permits, a new concept bringing Philadelphia-style cheesesteaks called Brotherly Love will soon make its way to The Nation’s Silo Studios, located at 1610 54th Ave. N. Brotherly Love has been many months in the making and is well on its way to welcoming guests soon. The design of the space will include an outdoor patio with 20 seats, a sports bar area with TVs and 12 bar seats, as well as 52 seats inside the restaurant to accommodate customers.

What Now Nashville spoke with Smith, who will co-own Brotherly Love with John Hoffman and Nicholas Nathan, about what they hope to bring forth with the concept.

“Brotherly Love Cheesesteaks is an elevated fast-casual, high-quality cheesesteak. The difference between us and other places is that we want this to be more of a social experience, which is why half of the space is going to be a sports bar with multiple TVs and bar seating,” Smith said in a phone call.

“We’re going to deliver a curated craft beverage menu as well. Brotherly Love is meant to be a place in the neighborhood for people to gather and hang out, it’s not going to be a quick come-and-go experience. We want our neighbors to be able to sit down, get a quality sandwich, and enjoy a glass of wine with us after the workday or for a weekend gathering,” Smith added.

The menu for Brotherly Love will be anchored by three core Philly cheesesteaks: one with house-sliced ribeye steak, one featuring chicken, and a veggie cheesesteak to offer an option for everyone. As for sides, customers can expect fries, salads, and milkshakes to round out the menu.
