Doug Morgan is the franchisee behind the location. Morgan’s plans to franchise with Capital Tacos were first announced in 2023.

Having worked in restaurants for over 30 years, Morgan will bring a wealth of experience to his Capital Tacos’ operation.

What Now Nashville spoke with Morgan to discuss his plans in Hendersonville.

“I’ve spent my whole life working in the restaurant industry and have built passion for food– Mexican food happens to be my personal favorite,” Morgan said. “With Capital Tacos I am able to combine my expertise with something I enjoy. I’m thrilled to be bringing a brand that serves fresh, delicious food to my hometown.”

Capital Tacos’ menu includes burritos, bowls, quesadillas, salads, churros and of course, tacos.

The Hendersonville Capital Tacos will be situated along a number of other restaurants, a brewery and a gym. Morgan anticipates its central location will be an asset for the franchise.

“This location on Main Street really has a lot going for it,” Morgan said. “There are a number of nice restaurants in the area that are well regarded, and we’re excited for Capital Tacos to be among them. This is a great spot to open a business in Hendersonville.”

Construction at Capital Tacos in Hendersonville recently concluded. Morgan shared that the target opening date is August 1.
