A new pizza restaurant will join the lineup at Urban Dog Bar in The Nations this summer. According to owner Trevor Ewing, Carlsbad Pizza Co. is set to open soon at 5701 Centennial Blvd with an estimated opening timeline of two months.
The business has one other location in California. This will be its first Tennessee restaurant. The business is currently rennovating its website, but is operating its Instagram account with photos of its dishes.
What Now Nashville spoke with Ewing about the expansion to the popular neighborhood.
“We are super excited about the location in The Nations! We love that the area has been a hub for many new businesses opening, and we’re super happy to be a part of Urban Dog Bar. Everyone in Nashville talks about how there’s nowhere to take their dog, so this will definitely change the game and be a really cool gathering place for the community to get together,” Ewing said during a phone interview.
The pizza will be East-coast style served up by the slice or whole pie. The Carlsbad Pizza menu will also likely offer garlic knots, chicken wings, calzones, and salads, similar to its other location in Oceanside, CA.
