Announced on its social media, the locally-owned bar and restaurant Cocktail Club Amendment XVIII is moving to a new, yet-to-be-announced location in Downtown Franklin from its original location in the Westhaven neighborhood. It’s expected to be reopened by the end of the summer this year, however, the details are still unfolding.

“We will be opening our speakeasy cocktail bar, on the square, in the alley near the courthouse,” the bar disclosed to the Williamson Source, citing that the new spot is only three miles away from the current location.

Though there is no confirmed grand opening date, it’s likely that Cocktail Club Amendment XVIII will be open by August or September.

Cocktail Club Amendment XVIII originally opened in Franklin in 2021, specializing in a 1920s speakeasy vibe and offers handcrafted timeless cocktails as well as a small plates menu that includes burger and chicken sliders, Gouda mac and cheese, and dessert options.

Named after the prohibition law that banned sales of alcohol in 1917, Cocktail Club Amendment XVIII prides itself on its friendly service and atmosphere, with “highly knowledgeable bartenders who take their guests and hospitality seriously,” states its website.

Owned by Dean Marsh, the bar is a part of the hospitality group TriOut, which operates multiple concepts both locally and out of state.
