The local pizza spot will be opening in Canopy Nashville at 920 Division St., according to the Nashville Business Journal. The spot will open as a walk-up window, serving pizza by the slice. Five Points Pizza will also be available for guests dining in at Canopy Nashville’s ground-floor restaurant.
David Tieman, Tara Tieman and Tanner Jacobs opened the pizza spot in East Nashville in 2011 and later expanded to a location in West Nashville.
“We are super excited to partner with Canopy Nashville to bring the slice window experience to the Gulch,” Tara said in a release obtained by the Business Journal. “We have been working with their amazing team for almost a year and can’t think of a better brand to partner with on our first stand-alone slice window.”
What Now Nashville previously reported that the team also revealed plans earlier this year to open up a permanent food truck outside Jackalope Brewing Co. in Wedgewood-Houston.
The menu includes salads as well as specialty pizzas like the Hot Hawaiian (spicy capicola, pineapple, fresh jalapenos) and the T-Rex (pepperoni, Italian sausage, sliced meatballs, spicy capicola). They also serve strombolis and a selection of pizzas by the slice , cut from 20-inch pies and served on paper plates.
The new location in the Gulch is expected to open in early 2025.
