The restaurant, called Gannon’s, will combine many years of hospitality experience from both partners to bring American, Italian, and French-fusion cuisine to Music City.

What Now Nashville spoke with David Deschamps, who helps with operations and managing social media for the restaurant, about what customers can expect at Gannon’s.

“It’s going to be a great menu with an oyster bar, classic American comfort food as well as French and Italian dishes, great ambiance, and decor. As of now, it’s set to open mid-June,” said Deschamps in a phone interview.

Gannon Leary previously served as the Executive Chef of the historic speakeasy and jazzy burlesque venue Skull’s Rainbow Room in Printer’s Alley, which won numerous awards during Leary’s time in the kitchen, including Condé Nast, OpenTable, Yelp, and more. Gannon’s will open this summer after years in the works as Leary and Wileman’s first independent restaurant together.

“We offer a wide variety of dishes including fresh oysters and highly curated cocktails designed by our experienced team of mixologists. Join us for live jazz and a dinner experience you won’t soon forget!” states Gannon’s Yelp page.

Alongside the restaurant, a downstairs speakeasy-esque bar is currently in the works as Gannon’s sister project below the restaurant at The Marriott Courtyard. Customers can anticipate curated craft cocktails and live performances to enjoy after dinner.

Keep up to date with the grand opening as it gets closer on Gannon’s website and Instagram.
