Earlier this month, the Nashville Post revealed that the coffee shop will open its fourth location at 803 Lea Avenue.

The coffee chain began construction in the space about three weeks ago, co-owner Bruce Lowman told What Now.

Initially, the coffee chain was considering a location about four to six blocks away from the Lea Avenue location, but someone else signed the lease.

The expansion is about being closer to downtown, Lowman said.

“We like what’s going on downtown Nashville,” he said. “There’s lots and lots of traffic. There are local people that live there as well as people from out of town.”

This new location is close to several hotels, the convention center, and a lot of walking traffic, Lowman added.

While the location will have a similar coffee menu to other Honest Coffee Roasters locations, it will have different breakfast and lunch items.

“We try and cater to what the clientele wants,” Lowman said. For example, he noted two current locations have identical menus, while the others are individualized depending on the clientele.

“We modify our menus in all of our shops…depending on trends as wells as what people are saying that they want certain things,” Lowman continued.

Besides a location in Franklin and West Nashville, Honest Coffee Roasters also has a cafe in Huntsville, Alabama.

Branch Building Group is helping the local coffee shop to build this location.

While the opening date is unknown, the chain plans to open this new location in February.

“We are very proud of the product we offer,” Lowman said. “We’ve established ourselves as a premier coffee brand in the Nashville area. We just want to concentrate a little bit more sort of in our home area of Middle Tennessee. Downtown Nashville is a great place to be.”
