The 37-seat, intimate space, which opened in 2022, is a tasting-menu-only concept. Guests are served an extended tasting menu rather than conventional meals. The goal is to place emphasis on creative, fresh flavor combinations.
However, Brock and the team are closing the tasting-menu-only restaurant at the end of September for “a short break,” according to the Instagram statement.
“After two incredible years of serving Appalachian-inspired tasting menus, our creative team is reimagining the beautiful space to expand offerings for our community and to share June with as many people as possible,” the statement reads. “Chef de Cuisine Colin Shane and our talented team have crafted hundreds of remarkable dishes and beverage pairings, creating lifelong memories for our amazing guests. We are eternally grateful for everyone who has come through our doors, worked alongside us and supported our vision.”
The team has a new concept in the works, which will involve pop-ups, chef residencies, lab workshops and potentially culinary classes as a part of “The School of Brock.” The post also teased the return of the guest chef dinner series, “The Nashville Sessions.”
June will remain open as a private event space for the time being as the team designs and revamps the new concept and space. Brock also has two other Nashville restaurants, Joyland and Audrey, that remain open.
Regardless of its future, the June space will remain dedicated to creativity.
“June has always been a special place, built with evolution and creativity in mind,” the Instagram post reads. “Stay tuned for updates and thank you so much for the support.”
