“We are currently wrapping up our remodeling construction for inspection. As long as the inspection goes well, we should be able to soft open at the end of this month. But, I don’t have exact dates yet,” owner Nick told What Now Nashville in an email.

The restaurant does not yet have a website set up, though it’s showcased the stages of interior construction with photos of the space on its Instagram page, including elegant chandeliers, wooden bench seating, and intricate floral wallpaper.

The menu will serve a variety of Korean-inspired dishes and will also include a full bar, offering cocktails with an emphasis on Asian spirits, as noted by the Williamson Source.

The restaurant will aim to become a staple in the community for authentic Korean fare and has hopes of becoming a popular local gathering spot in the neighborhood, enriching the overall Franklin culture.

“Restaurant culture is a crucial component to the value of a community. It impacts the lives and experiences of the people who live there, it affects visitors’ interest in spending time there, and it makes up an important piece of the community’s overall economic and cultural success. So it’s critical we as a community give credence and support to the sustainability of our restaurant scene,” MI Kitchen stated in an Instagram post.
