This will be the health-food franchise brand’s first venture into the Nashville market. The location in the River North development is about 1,100 square feet and will have a clean, white design to reflect the “clean” brand. It will have several tables and swings for customers to use.
Nadina Chavez, the franchise owner, is looking forward to being part of the new mixed-use development, which will include 651 apartments, as well as a 78,000 square foot office building and 73,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space.
“The location itself is amazing. We’re looking forward to having a ton of tenants around us and a lot of residents,” Chavez said. “Hopefully they can take advantage and buy our juices and acai bowls. Our mission is to build a healthy community, so I’m hoping that will be the case for our location.”
The brand is known for its superfood smoothies and acai bowls. It also serves oatmeal bowls, cold-pressed juice and superfood toasts. It allows for customizations to its menu items, and the Nashville location plans to do catering throughout the area as well.
Pure Green currently has locations in 22 states, with one location in Tennessee in Knoxville. There are two other spots expected to open in the Tennessee market in addition to the Nashville spot: one at Ridgeway Trace and one in Murfreesboro.
Chavez anticipates that the spot at River North will open in early 2025. She hopes to eventually expand to more locations across the Nashville area.
It will join other restaurant tenants including Shake Shack, Hoppin’ and Thai Samurai. Fitness studio BodyRok and Sweet Truth Dental have also been announced as tenants.
“We’re known in the bigger cities, and Nashville is becoming a big city or hotspot, so we’re excited to be here,” Chavez said.
