The new location for the popular American chain would add to the several other locations in the Greater Nashville area, which include spots in Hendersonville, Murfreesboro, Spring Hill and Clarksville.
Permits indicate that the Antioch location would be a new construction, and the restaurant would be 8,063 square feet upon completion.
Texas Roadhouse, which first opened in 1993, has more than 760 restaurants across 49 states, one U.S. territory and 10 foreign countries, according to a July press release from the company. It specializes in American cuisine, with menu items like hand-cut steaks, fall-off-the-bone ribs, country dinners, burgers and sandwiches. It also serves cocktails, beer, wine and margaritas.
The timeline for opening this location is unclear. However, it appears to still be in the early stages.
