The Capital Grille Is Planning Nashville Debut In The Gulch

The Capital Grille is planning to open a location in the One22One development at 1221 Broadway in the Gulch, according to recently filed permits and reporting by the Nashville Business Journal.

This will be The Capital Grille’s first location in Nashville and the second in Tennessee. There is currently one location open in Memphis.

The Capital Grille falls into the portfolio of Darden Restaurants, a restaurant management company based in Florida. The Capital Grille brand started in Providence, Rhode Island, in 1990 and has since expanded to more than 60 locations worldwide.

The steakhouse offers seafood dishes like lobster and crab cake with lemon basil aioli and pan-fried calamari, as well as soups such as lobster bisque and clam chowder. The spot is known for its dry aged steaks, with menu highlights such as filet mignon, porcini-rubbed bone-in ribeye and dry aged NY strip.

“From the moment you step into The Capital Grille, the experience is one of comfortable elegance,” The Capital Grille website states. “African mahogany paneling and Art Deco chandeliers provide a warm, stately setting for our nationally renowned dry-aged steaks, fresh seafood and acclaimed world-class wines.”

As of now, a timeline is unknown for The Capital Grille’s opening in the One22One development. What Now Nashville has reached out to a representative with the company for more details on the plans and timeline but had yet to hear back by the time of publication.
