What Now Nashville connected with Tierra Linda’s owner Ashley Garcia to learn more about her plans for the food truck.

“Simply put, Tierra Linda is a new business venture, inspired by our family’s desire to bring a taste (literally!) of Latin American culture to Nashville,” Garcia said in an email Q&A. “The goal of our business is to serve as a one-stop shop for the community by offering a selection of bites and drinks for breakfast and lunch.”

The menu at Tierra Linda will feature breakfast burritos, omelets, french toast, burgers, salads, and salads. Additionally the team at Tierra Linda will serve freshly-made natural juices. Tierra Linda’s social media pages indicate they will offer catering services as well.

The “Aguas Frescas” will be made based on a family recipe emphasizing the flavors of popular Latin American ingredients. From the recipes to the operations, Tierra Linda will be a family venture.

“After graduating from college, my career steered itself towards business management so my desire to become an entrepreneur came naturally,” Garcia wrote. “My mom and dad have over 25 years of restaurant and cooking experience, so we decided to put all of our talents together to create Tierra Linda!”

Garcia anticipates hosting a grand opening sometime between mid and late July. They are currently waiting on some final inspections on their food truck.
