Toastique is known for its gourmet toast creations, smoothie bowls, nutrient-rich cold-pressed juices, espresso and coffee, and other convenient grab-and-go options. The Nashville location will also have a cocktail program featuring a selection of mimosas, frosé, frosé granita, crushes, spicy margarita, bloody mary’s and draft beer. Toastique franchisee, Andy Patel, decided to bring the East Coast brand to the Music City after feeling inspired to manage his own business during the pandemic. Patel grew up in an entrepreneurial household with family who owned various retail businesses but, with his venture, wanted to own a restaurant and saw longevity in the Toastique brand’s emphasis on healthy food and a wellness lifestyle. The North Capitol neighborhood, which is known for its restaurants and proximity to Sounds Stadium, Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park and Nashville Farmers’ Market marked the perfect location for the Toastique location as customers from all points could be drawn to its menu boasting morning lattes, brunch items, post-workout smoothies and happy hour cocktails.

“Growing up working in Nashville retail businesses with my family, I have always sought out new challenges that expand my knowledge of business and bring value into a community,” said Andy Patel, first-time Toastique franchisee of the Nashville location in a statement. “My wife and I had been looking for two to three years for the right business opportunity and in seeing such a strong push and growth in the health and fitness industries in the last few years, it made sense to go in that direction. That same year that we found Toastique, we started eating more avocado toast at home and fell in love with the diversity of the menu which offers items that everyone would love. One major draw for me was that nearly everything is made fresh in-store and nothing is frozen; everything from the granola to the hummus and guests can expect the juices to be cold-pressed every day.”

Highlights of the health-conscious menu include the Greek Toast (hummus, arugula, marinated tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, kalamata olives, feta, paprika, lemon twist on Rustico toast) and Tuscan Tuna (tuna dressed with sun-dried tomatoes, capers, scallions, herb vinaigrette, balsamic glaze, kalamata olives, tomato, bibb lettuce, lemon twist on Rustico toast ). The concept offers a variety of bowls including the popular Dragonberry (pitaya (Dragon Fruit), mango, strawberry, agave, coconut water, topped with strawberry, kiwi, goji berry, coconut, granola and honey drizzle). Guests can also enjoy freshly blended smoothies, such as the Orange Crush (orange, mango, lime, agave and almond milk). Toastique offers a variety of coffee and espresso offerings such as cold brew, and Iced Collagen Lattes. For those looking for to-go options, the concept offers Cold-Pressed Juices, available on tap and in bottles, and grab-and-go salads.

Originating in 2018 in Washington, D.C., Toastique is known for its fresh and artistic approach to crafting food grounded in paying homage to the natural beauty and simplicity found in locally sourced ingredients. Employing fresh produce and curating unique, thoughtful flavor combinations, Toastique has cultivated a rich menu of enticing and health-conscious toasts, smoothies, cold-pressed juices, and more.

Once open, the Nashville location will be open 7am to 7pm Monday through Sunday.
