It is opening in a two-story building formerly home to Kabob and HQues and it will have a rustic atmosphere. The downstairs area, which will seat 116, will offer quieter and more intimate dining experiences, while the upstairs area, which will seat 130, will feature a high-energy bar, patio seating and offer a “reverse happy hour” beginning at 10 p.m., according to the Nashville Business Journal. The upstairs area will also feature DJs.
The restaurant will serve upscale American cuisine, and it plans to serve lunch and dinner, as well as brunch on the weekends. Twenty First aims to support local farmers by serving fresh ingredients, which will play a large role in the menu.
There will also be a Twenty First Amendment-inspired beverage list, focusing on the amendment that repealed prohibition.
Just One More Hospitality Group is family-owned in Nashville, now managed by Dalton Crow, who took over operations of the company in 2022 when his father Doug Crow passed away suddenly. The group is behind other local brands including Noble’s, Alley Pub, Joe’s Place, Dalton’s Grill and Crow’s Nest, as well as a few others across Tennessee and Florida.
Twenty First will be the first brand launched under the hospitality group’s umbrella since Dalton Crow took over.
“I want people to feel like they are guests in our house. I think hospitality is a lost art these days, and I want my team to welcome them like they would if somebody was in their kitchen,” Heather Karst, managing partner of Twenty First, told the Nashville Business Journal. “I don’t just want it to be a place where people only come for celebrations. I want it to be a place where people come every time they do anything fun because they feel like they are at home.”
