The business will be co-owned by Kero Yacoub and Stephen Marsh, who are behind other concepts like Vibes Bar and Lounge, and SkyBar Nashville.

Nashville Business Journal reports that Yacoub and Marsh have plans to create a Mediterranean-American fusion menu to go alongside their drinks menu. There will be a heavy focus on whiskey and tequila drinks at the bar.

Marsh did not immediately return What Now Nashville’s request for a comment.

Based on an interview he had with Nashville Business Journal, the new concept will create an atmosphere reminiscent of visiting a villa in the countryside. Marsh and Yacoub plan to install a privacy fence around the space as well.

A pending beer board permit filed for the address indicates that Designer Lounge LLC is behind the concept. There is no confirmation at this time Designer Lounge is the official name of the bar.

A commercial building permit indicates plans to put in a new tile floor, add new furniture and switch out some fixtures. There are no plans to change the building’s footprint or roof lines. The building’s renovations will wipe away traces of The Fable Lounge, an upscale cocktail concept that briefly occupied the space before closing a few years ago.

Nashville Business Journal reports that there will be a stage for live music and a cigar lounge on the top floor with booth seating. The outside area will have around 300-seats, as will inside.

The bar at 114 28th Ave. N. is aiming to open in mid-July.
