The new Dunkin’ will replace a former location of Starbucks, which shut its doors in early 2023. The franchisee of the new site is listed as Jonathan Sisco of the Bluemont Group, a franchise network for Dunkin’, which will oversee the operations of this location. The group also oversees franchise locations across Middle Tennessee as well as Knoxville, Chatanooga, and Birmingham, according to its website.

The coffee and donut shop will be located in a mixed-use building home to various HCA Healthcare offices and will not offer a drive-thru, though it’s likely to see heavy foot traffic due to the metropolitan location and nearby office workers. Texas-based Cortland Morgan Architecture is designing the space, with the permit value being $395,000.

Dunkin’ specializes in affordable and customizable coffee drinks, breakfast sandwiches, and donuts. Currently, Nashville is home to 11 Dunkin’ locations and has plans to open more very soon, including one near Zanie’s Comedy Club near the Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood.

Stay tuned for an official grand opening date on Dunkin’s website.
