After recently celebrating the grand opening of Schulman’s in East Nashville, it appears Bill Miller of Icon Entertainment and Hospitality is staying busy. Miller has announced his latest project, Southern Turf Club, will open soon at 222 4th Ave N. in the short-term rental Southern Turf Lofts building, also home to two other Icon concepts, Skull’s Rainbow Room and Sinatra Bar & Lounge. The famed Printer’s Alley location suits the historic aesthetic of the new speakeasy concept.
The concept will be a members-only cocktail club with thoughtful antique touches reminiscent of a museum, dripping in elegance and exclusivity.
According to an article from the Nashville Business Journal, Southern Turf Club will include a 17th-century bench once owned by poet John Milton, four fireplaces over 100 years old, and a 1916 bottle of Rip Van Winkle whiskey worth $35,000.
Its menu will offer elevated small bites and exquisite spirit-forward cocktails to match the ambiance of the space. Slated to open around the end of the month, Southern Turf Club is sure to become Nashville’s newest cozy gathering spot in time for fall and winter.
