This move will mark the restaurant’s third location in Nashville, with its other two located in Bellevue and inside the Assembly Food Hall on Broadway.
Founder Scott DeSano told What Now Nashville that while this move has been in the works, the DeSano Pizza team has been scouting locations for its fourth and fifth outposts in Music City, with East Nashville being an area of interest. Though, it is too early in the process to definitively say where these upcoming locations will be, and are likely over a year or two out.
Once opened, the new location in Germantown will feature a large, covered patio for outdoor dining. The restaurant uses premium ingredients for each and every pizza it makes, including Buffalo mozzarella shipped from Italy and San Marzano tomatoes.
“I love the neighborhood and am excited by the restaurants and bars that will be around us and being so proximate to the entrance to the stadium,” DeSano originally told the Nashville Post about the move to Germantown.
DeSano Pizza originally opened at its Midtown 16th Ave location in 2012 and currently operates nine locations across California, Texas, Florida, North Carlina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
“From the minute you step into one of our restaurants and see the grand wood-burning ovens and master pizza makers, you realize this is more than just another pizza joint – it’s a culinary event,” states the DeSano website.
