This will become SunLife’s first Tennessee location, slated to open after construction is completed on the development in the fourth quarter of 2024. Founded by Khalil Rafati in 2011, SunLife Organics operates with a mission to love, heal, and inspire across its 12 locations.

“This isn’t just a juice bar, it’s a way of life fueled by the belief that you matter. We view each interaction as a valued opportunity to connect and make a positive impact on someone’s life, however big or small, because you deserve to be loved. We’re committed to serving our communities the highest quality organic ingredients Mother Nature has to offer, because you deserve to be healed. We never stop growing, learning, listening and sharing, because you deserve to be inspired,” states the SunLife website.

The story behind SunLife’s creation is one that truly embodies its mission statement. As a recovering addict and victim of homelessness, Rafati found solace through superfoods. After getting sober and back on his feet, Rafati traveled extensively all over India, Indonesia, and Central America to compare his newfound knowledge of Eastern healing to what he knew about Western medicine. He soon joined forces with business partner Hayley Gorcey, and the duo opened the first SunLife Organics to provide access to true nourishment to local communities. The company also aims to employ local youth to provide a fun, safe, and sober environment for them to learn, grow, and thrive, according to its website.

With menu items like protein smoothies, fresh-pressed juice shots, acai bowls, coffee, tea, and sweet and savory toasts, SunLife Organics offers healthy options for everyone. Customers can keep updated about SunLife on its Instagram, Facebook, and website.
