The Winners team has not made announcements on the construction progress or concept beyond its initial announcement on Instagram on March 18 that the bar would be “getting a facelift.” The original timeline advertised a July opening date which has since been pushed back to fall.

The plans appear to include removing a two-level deck and replacing it with an enclosed deck, according to a permit filed with the city.

The music-inspired menu features options ranging from “opening acts” — or appetizers — to “headliners,” or entrees. The menu contains a variety of salads, sandwiches, burgers, wraps and pizza.

The bar and grill spot, which also features live music, is owned by Steve Ford. The ownership was previously shared with Erv Woolsey, who passed away in March. Ford is also part of the ownership team for fellow bar Losers Bar and Grill, located only steps away at 1911 Division St. Like Winners, it features a food menu, live music and a variety of beers on tap.

What Now Nashville has reached out to Ford for more information on the renovation concept and timeline but has yet to receive a response. Stay tuned for updates on this location’s upcoming opening.
