A team member from Neighbors’ Germantown location confirmed that Neighbors in The Gulch will plan to open by August of this year, however, the process is still in the early stages of development and the timeline may change.
According to permits, the restaurant and bar is approved for $250,000 worth of renovations, and the contractor is listed as MTLC Building Group, which also served as the contractor for the Franklin location of Neighbors.
Known best for its chicken wings and upbeat environment, Neighbors started in 2011 in Sylvan Park out of a 700 square feet space that was shared with Victoria’s hair salon at the time.
Serving up a small menu to match the small venue, it offered 6 beer taps and a kitchen that was so small, they chose to smoke their wings and brisket in the back parking lot, according to the Neighbors website.
Now, the brand has expanded to open three large restaurants in Sylvan Park, Germantown, and Franklin. The Gulch will mark the fourth Neighbors in Nashville.
What Now Nashville reached out to the Pillers for comment but did not immediately hear back.
