A representative for Dutch Bros Coffee declined to comment as the location is in the very early stages of development.

A building permit summary from the city of Murfreesboro describes a new construction and demolition permit for 1940 Old Fort Pkwy. The permit looks to be for the construction of a 950-square-foot space. A commercial permit was issued in late June.

Dutch Bros has been popping up all across Middle Tennesses with new locations planned for Spring Hills, Mt. Juliet and Donelson. Dutch Bros has another outpost already open in Murfreesboro, but the newly constructed location will cater to another part of the city.

What Now Nashville has previously reported on Dutch Bros plans for rapid expansion over the next year. The chain plans to hit the 1,000 location milestone by 2025.

The business has grown exponentially since brothers Dane and Travis Boersma began selling espresso from a push cart in Oregon. The brand recently welcomed former CEO of Wendy’s, Todd Penegor, onto the Dutch Bros’ Board of Directors to help guide their growth trajectory.

Per a recent press release, Dutch Bros has 876 locations across 17 states. No word at this time as to when the Dutch Bros Coffee will be open.
