Dutch Bros Grows Again, Permits Filed for Donelson Location

The popular fast-casual coffee joint is expanding yet again, this time to Donelson.

More coffee options are coming soon to the fast-growing Donelson neighborhood. On March 15, Dutch Bros applied for a new business license for a drive-thru location at 2381 Elm Hill Pike. Although an exact grand opening date is not yet known, it’s likely to start serving Donelson customers soon.

Established in 1992 in Grants Pass, Oregon, Dutch Bros has grown exponentially in the last 30 years with over 800 locations nationwide, including over 20 locations in Tennessee. This West Coast brand is certainly making waves with plans for even more locations on the way.

Last year, Dutch Bros announced its intentions to open between 150 and 165 new shops nationwide in 2024 to reach 1,000 locations by 2025. In 2023, Dutch Bros officials reported a 31% increase in revenue and 100+ new stores opened, according to WorldCoffeePortal.com.

Most well known for its fast service and energetic employees, Dutch Bros offers plenty of options for everyone, including specialty drinks like its Golden Eagle, a vanilla caramel breve, its Kicker, an Irish Creme breve, and its own Rebel energy drinks. The brand also recently debuted protein coffee and popping boba pearls to be added to any drink. Its food menu includes muffin tops, cookies, and granola bars.
