Tim Hortons Franchisee Aims for 45 Middle Tennessee Locations

A local business owner will soon usher forth Tennessee’s first Tim Horton’s storefront, slated to open in the coming months in Mt. Juliet. The franchisee, Naren Patel, has ambitious goals to open 45 locations in the Middle Tennessee area throughout his partnership with the Canadian coffee brand. Patel’s business portfolio includes owning several Golden Bear gas station convenience stores across Middle Tennessee.

The first location of Tim Horton’s will open at 10576 Lebanon Road, east of North Mt. Juliet Road, local reporting reveals. An exact opening timeline is forthcoming, however, building plans for the location are currently in the permitting process with Mt. Juliet’s planning department.

A second confirmed location will be at 5120 Beckwith Road, near the TriStar Mt. Juliet ER medical building on the city’s south side. Other initial areas of interest for Tim Horton’s locations include Lebanon, Gallatin, Nashville, and Spring Hill according to The Tennessean.

Founded in 1964 in Canada by former NHL player of the same name, Tim Horton’s came to the United States in 1986. The brand currently has locations across 11 states.

Plans for the first Mt. Juliet Tim Hortons location list the building at 1,678 square feet and will include a drive-thru. Tim Hortens’s menu encompasses a variety of breakfast and lunch items such as sandwiches, wraps, donuts, and specialty coffee, according to its online menu.
