National brand Dutch Bros is bringing another drive-thru stand to Middle Tennessee, this time in Mt. Juliet. The site will be located on the corner of East Sunset Drive and North Mt. Juliet Road with an exact address pending construction.
Site plans were recently greenlit by the Mt. Juliet Planning Commission, with The Tennessean reporting that the approval included contingencies for the 950-square-foot building related to vehicle access off North Mt. Juliet Road. The traffic that builds from Dutch Bros’ long drive-thru lines has the potential to spill out onto the main road.
The growing household name has been expanding rapidly across the country over the recent years, with Tennessee in its sights since the debut of its first location in the state in 2022.
Dutch Bros is widely known for its large menu, friendly employees, wide array of fun flavors, and rotating seasonal specials. As of February, the brand is promoting a “protein coffee” as a specialty option for those looking to increase their protein consumption with an additional 20 grams added to their daily fix of caffeine. The coffee chain is also popular for its Golden Eagle, a vanilla caramel breve, Kicker, an Irish Creme breve, and Rebel energy drinks. Its food menu includes muffin tops, cookies, and granola bars.
Though an exact opening timeline has not yet been announced, once construction starts at the location it’s likely to begin service within four to six months.
