Chicago-based hospitality group, Lettuce Entertain You, has announced their second concept to open in Nashville. Aba, the group’s upscale Mediterranean restaurant, will open at 435 Houston St. in Wedgewood Houston in late 2025, following the upcoming location of Sushi-san, LEY’s concept opening first in the upcoming Ashwood 12 South development.
An exact opening timeline is forthcoming and will depend on permitting and construction efforts. Wedgewood Houston has seen plenty of recent growth for retail and restaurants in the area, including Dos Santos, Maru Sushi, and the recently opened Glasshaus.
This will become Aba’s fourth location. The first Aba debuted in Chicago in 2018, the second in Austin in 2020, and most recently opened in Miami in 2022, states the Nashville Business Journal.
The restaurant offers a variety of dishes with options for everyone. Its menu features Chef CJ Jacobson’s modern approach to Mediterranean cooking, with standouts including Smoky Garlic Hummus, Whipped Feta Spread, Hamachi, Shawarma-Spiced Skirt Steak, and Frozen Greek Yogurt. The bar program showcases rare Mediterranean-inspired wines and spirits.
Aba’s other locations show interiors with open spaces, greenery, and botanicals inspired by summer in the Mediterranean. The restaurant space was designed by Lettuce Entertain You’s internal design team, led by Director of Interior Design Avril Zayas in collaboration with Executive Partner and Divisional President Marc Jacobs, its website states.
