“We have a fully executed contract for a new construction building here in Mt. Juliet that the developer should be starting construction on any day now,” Mandy shared in an email. “The erosion barriers around the property went up just a couple of weeks ago, so we should see some real progress very soon. We are waiting patiently as this has been planned for some time, but we anticipate our grand opening to take place sometime in the third or fourth quarter of next year pending the construction timeline,” said Mandy.

The Cinnaholic concept is anchored by its inclusive and customizable build-your-own menu featuring all vegan ingredients. Originally from California, the brand rose to fame after being featured on the reality show, Shark Tank, in 2014. Currently, the brand has almost 100 franchised locations across the country.

“Our inspiration for Cinnaholic came from our youngest daughter who has a severe dairy allergy. We understand what it is like to want delicious treats but be limited by a restricted diet. We plan to provide a family environment where everyone can enjoy a delectable bite. Both of our young daughters are counting down the days to be able to work there, and my dad, who is affectionately known as ‘Papa’ and renowned for his excellent cooking, will also be a staple behind the counter,” Mandy said.

The Bandy’s have already dipped their toes in the entrepreneurial waters from owning the Christian Brothers Automotive location in Mt. Juliet. Cinnaholic will be their second small business venture, and although they only signed on for a single unit of the bakery, Mandy told What Now Nashville that plans to expand are not being ruled out.

Customers can keep updated about Mt. Juliet’s future bakery on its website.
