The upcoming Germantown mixed-use complex offers addresses of 1316 and 1320 Adams St. and will also house Michelin-acclaimed Fishmonger, as previously reported by What Now Nashville. An official address for Close Company is pending once construction is completed.

For Close Company’s debut location in Nashville, the aim is to provide high-quality, handcrafted specialty cocktails in a comfortable and casual atmosphere, becoming Germantown’s newest neighborhood bar.

“Close Company first and foremost aspires to be a great bar. And by that, we mean following in the footsteps of the great neighborhood bars that have become fixtures in our communities — where we go to celebrate, relax, connect with friends and strangers alike,” Gin & Luck’s COO Alex Day said in the release.

Its menu will be cocktail-focused and includes modern twists on classic drinks, batched and chilled freezer cocktails, draft cocktails, and a small array of bar snacks.

Taking some inspiration from its predecessor, Death & Co., Close Company is expected to live up to high expectations set by parent company, Gin & Luck. Over the years since Death & Co. debuted in 2006, it’s become a must-visit destination for serious drinks and cocktail enthusiasts and the winner of several major industry awards, including America’s Best Cocktail Bar and World’s Best Cocktail Menu at Tales of the Cocktail. Boasting uniquely innovative menus, Death & Co is also the birthplace of some of the modern era’s most iconic drinks, according to its website.
