Green Hills and Downtown Clarksville are in for a treat this year, thanks to Jack Brown’s Burgers coming to town. The Virginia-based chain currently operates three Nashville-area locations in Germantown, Edgehill, and Murfreesboro and has become known as one of Music City’s best burgers served in a fun atmosphere with plenty of draft beer and good music.

First to open will be Green Hills this spring at 2201 Brandywood Dr. in the former site of Cole’s Kitchen, followed by Downtown Clarksville at 117 Franklin St. later this year, reports The Nashville Business Journal.

Jack Brown’s was founded in 2009 in Harrisonburg, Virginia by two lifelong friends Aaron Ludwig and Mike Sabin, who had prior experience working as bartenders and chefs in the food industry and always dreamed of owning a bar.

The philosophy behind the brand is to be a “beer bar that serves a heck of a burger” with an emphasis on its craft brews on tap. Coincidentally, the brand is very well known for its food menu, which simply offers nine staple burgers and a rotating daily special.

Also regarded for its “Notch Club,” Jack Brown’s offers qualifying patrons a custom shirt, their picture on the wall, and access to exclusive Notch Club events and tasting trips once they’ve tasted 100 different beers at the restaurant.

“As a bar with a passion for craft beer, we’re always trying to bring in new brews. The goal of the club is to keep you trying new drinks and bring people together,” states its website.

With over 21 locations across the Southeast and counting, Jack Brown’s is solidifying its reputation as a local favorite dive bar and burger joint. Customers can stay tuned for additional info, including a more precise grand opening timeline, on Jack Brown’s Instagram, Facebook and website. A Jack Brown’s representative did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
