The famous sandwich shop was first founded in Florence in 1989 by the Mazzanti family. CEO Tommaso Mazzanti, who joined the family business in 2014, expanded the brand to 35 locations and led it through its jump to the U.S. in 2021.

Mazzanti teamed up with restaurateurs Tanya Manuali and Joe Bastianich to bring the concept to America, starting in New York. Since then, they have opened more locations in New York City, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. This will be the sandwich shop’s ninth location in the U.S.

All’Antico Vinaio’s menu includes sandwiches like the La Favolosa, which features salame toscana, pecorino cream, artichoke cream and spicy eggplant, and La Dante, which includes capocollo, stracchino, truffle cream and arugula.

The Nashville location is expected to offer counter service. Guests will be able to watch their sandwich being made.

All’Antico Vinaio will join other tenants such as Two Hands, Maiz de la Vida, The Catbird Seat and Patterson House at Paseo South Gulch, which offers residential, retail and office spaces.

As of now, no opening timeline has been released.

What Now Nashville has reached out to all’Antico Vinaio but has yet to receive a response. Stay tuned for updates on this upcoming location.
