A tentative opening timeline for summer 2024 is being eyed. Harding House Brewing got its start in 2012 at its original location in The Nations at 904 51st Ave N., born from an idea shared between three friends, Matt Fung-A-Fat, Tyler Pate, and brewmaster Nate Underwood, to open up a taproom-focused, hyper-local brewery. Over the past 11 years, the brand has grown to offer a wide variety of seasonal drafts on tap, canned beers sold in local liquor stores, and special collaboration releases, like its rice ale made with local Japanese-fusion restaurant, Kisser.

Harding House also strives to support its community by fostering a farm-to-pint mentality, exclusively offering seasonal and local ingredients.

“By limiting our ingredient options to what is currently in season, we must be creative in how we use what is available. Building relationships with farms in Tennessee and the greater Southeast region will play an integral part in pursuing our mission. We are bringing the farm-to-pint brewing philosophy to Nashville,” its website states.

The business also aims to support local non-profits and fundraisers. “We give back to the community through product donations, fundraisers, charity pints, and more. Wherever there is an opportunity to help out our brothers and sisters, we plan to be a part of it,” states its Mission & Vision website page.

An interview with Harding House representatives is forthcoming. Keep up to date with Harding House Brewing’s expansion on its website and Instagram.
