Throughout this year, the family-owned business behind Arnold’s saw an outpour of support and lamenting from its customers regarding the news of its closing. To give some thanks back to its community, Arnold’s has been hosting a pop-up reopening this week for Thanksgiving, with temporary operating hours from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Wednesday with no reservations needed. They also announced Arnold’s will be open for reservation only on Thanksgiving Day for two seatings, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., which quickly sold out and currently has a lengthy waitlist.

The Arnolds have used this opportunity to garner some traction behind a possible full reopening of the restaurant in early 2024, though an official reopening timeline or announcement has not yet been made.

When asked about opening permanently in a comment on its Facebook page, Arnold’s responded:

“Maybe we can get back together in another couple months more permanently. Stay tuned!”

This news comes after the sale of the building last used to house Arnold’s was recently called off, according to reporting by the Nashville Business Journal. It’s likely that Arnold’s may just reopen in its original location since the building has remained untouched and is not currently subject to a sale. The Arnolds had cited high property taxes as the majority reason for originally closing operations.

What Now Nashville reached out to the Arnolds for additional comment, but did not immediately receive a response. Stay tuned for additional updates on Arnold’s Facebook page to be the first in the know about a potential reopening date.
