The Hideout Golf Club, a private members-only space for golf enthusiasts to play year-round, night or day, is expanding in Nashville. Company founder Errol Helling opened the first location in 2023 at 4101 Charlotte Ave Suite E215 inside Sylvan Supply and is now gearing up to open a second location at 1004 8th Ave South, between two growing neighborhoods, Wedgewood Houston and Edgehill.
The new location is slated to open this February, pending construction and permitting timelines.
Building permits filed this week with Metro indicate the new location will be 5,193 square feet and include a full-service bar for patrons to indulge in a craft brew or curated cocktail while golfing. Tenant Building Group is the general contractor and will collaborate with local architect firm, SV Design, to bring the new site to life.
According to a press release announcing its first location, “The Hideout Golf Club offers an experience similar to belonging to a private golf club, while convenient, efficient and weatherproof,” Helling stated in the release. “We want to create a community of golfers at Sylvan Supply, a place for all those who have a deep, passionate love for the game to congregate, play and plan their next round together,” Helling added. The club features TrackMan simulators designed for use in both practice and play, a bar and dining service from partner restaurants.
The Hideout Gold Club comes as a result of Helling’s professional experience as a PGA Representative and golf instructor at Profectus Golf since 2017. To round out the full-service experience, it’s likely the second location of The Hideout will also offer concierge dining service, similar to its first location, utilizing nearby restaurants to offer to customers, though this is not confirmed.
Dining spots neighboring The Hideaway’s future location include Baked on 8th, Gabby’s Burgers and Fries, Dozen Bakery, and Diskin Cider. Customers can learn more about The Hideaway Golf Club including membership programs on its website.
