According to a recent announcement, the family-owned business behind Jonathan’s Grille will rapidly expand over the next two years. Six new locations are in the works, in addition to the brand’s existing nine locations.
Breaking ground in 2024 and 2025, addresses of some new locations include:
- Lebanon, TN, Barton Village Development, South Hartman Road
- Chattanooga, TN, 212 Market St.
- Jackson, TN, Exit 85 area
- Clarksville, TN, Marcelina Development
- Smyrna, TN, Sam Ridley Parkway
- Huntsville, Alabama
Known for its classic American comfort foods, upscale sports grill vibe, and 50+ TVs at every location, Jonathan’s Grille was founded in 1999 by the parents of Curt and Mason Revelette, brothers and current owners of Jonathan’s Grille. Throughout its years of success, the restaurant chain has strategically adapted over the last two decades to appeal to a wide demographic.
“From the start, the Revelettes worked hard to target women and families by dropping the word ‘Bar’ from the restaurant’s name and adding healthier menu options. The extensive menu ranges from buffalo chicken dip and Nashville Hot Chicken sliders to superfood kale salad and a black bean veggie burger,” states a 2019 article by The Tennessean.
Jonathan’s Grille also offers late-night hours of midnight on weekdays and 2 am on Fridays and Saturdays, daily happy hour offerings including 2-for-1 beers, $8 appetizers, and $7 mimosas, as well as events like ladies’ night and even an annual corn hole tournament.
The Revelette brothers take a long-term approach to the family business growth by buying the real estate of each Jonathan’s location, ensuring that Nashville’s growth doesn’t drive them out; an unfortunate reality happening to many local businesses like Josephine, which announced it will close doors next month in 12 South.
