Soul’s first location opened last year at 6317 Charlotte Pike in West Nashville, quickly becoming a popular destination for bright colors, neon signs, live music, karaoke nights, trivia, game days, and happy hours. Smith has created an upbeat environment that reflects his many years in the Nashville hospitality business, geared toward tourists, locals, and anyone looking for a fun night. Soul’s two upcoming locations are expected to mirror the success of the original spot.

The food menu at Soul encompasses a variety of Southern-inspired classics with a modern twist, such as grits, fried catfish nuggets, and cajun pasta with chicken, shrimp, and andouille sausage, as well as more upscale offerings like lobster and ribeye steak. A full bar offers discounted drinks during daily happy hours and bottomless mimosas during weekend brunch service.

An interview with Smith providing additional details is forthcoming. Stay tuned for an official grand opening date on Soul’s website, Instagram and Facebook pages.
