According to a recent announcement, local Mexican restaurant Mojo Tacos is adding a third location to Nashville’s neighboring suburb, Nolensville. The location will be at 7263 Nolensville Rd Bldg 4, which was most recently home to Pork Belly Farmhouse restaurant, its last tenant.
A tentative timeline for opening is for the spring of 2024, but an exact grand opening date is forthcoming.
“Our exciting two-story location will bring you all your menu favorites, with delicious new additions like fajitas and enchiladas. Enjoy your meals on our beautiful porch during warmer months, and discover ample seating options both downstairs and upstairs, not to mention TWO bars,” states the caption of the Instagram post announcing the expansion in November.
Mojo Tacos is known for its authentic tacos with a modern twist, offering options such as “puffed” tacos, which include a deep-fried flour tortilla on any taco of choice. Some popular items on its online menu include the hot chicken taco served with chipotle slaw and poblano sauce, a fried avocado taco and a Korean cauliflower taco for vegetarians, as well as smoked brisket tacos and “the old school” taco with ground beef, jack cheese, and pico de gallo. The menu also features a robust option of alcoholic beverages, including house-made margaritas for $11. The diverse variety allows just about anyone to find something they’ll enjoy.
The trio behind Mojo Tacos, Will Butler, Travis Anderson, and Dave Story, opened the first brick-and-mortar location inside The Factory at Franklin in 2018, followed by a location in Thomspon Station, just south of Franklin. The business also operates a taco truck for catering special events like weddings, parties, and farmers markets.
