According to a mysterious Instagram account, a concept called Kase is coming soon from the team at Noko in East Nashville at 703 Porter Rd. in the former home of Lucky Rabbit Candy, which has moved to 725 Porter Rd. to accommodate the expansion plans.
The newly created Instagram account bio reads, “A new concept from the team that brought you @nokonashville Opening 2024,” without providing further detail. Currently, the profile has not posted any photos. It’s unclear when Kase is planning to fully open to the public this year, however, it could be as early as a few months. An official timeline is forthcoming.
To announce their relocation, Lucky Rabbit posted the following in an Instagram photo yesterday: “Our neighbors @nokonashville are expanding (@kasexnoko) and we love them, so we’re scooting right down the shopping center to 725 Porter Road.”
When contacted by What Now Nashville, Noko co-owner Jon Murray declined to comment on the new venture, for the time being.
Although details are scarce, customers can anticipate something exciting from the popular wood-fired Asian-inspired concept. Kase might be an extension of the brand, an attached sister concept or cocktail bar, or something else entirely. Noko opened last year and has become known as an East Nashville staple dining destination.
“Classic comfort food dishes undergo an elevated twist with dishes like Wagyu Brisket with a housemade Asian spice rub and Smoked Gochujang Hot Wings, alongside other unique menu items like rotating crudos and tartares, fire-grilled seafood, and a collection of seasonal vegetables,” describes Noko’s website.
