There is currently no confirmed timeline for opening, however, it is likely to be at the end of 2023 toward 2024 considering the lease for the building was signed this month. A website and social media pages have not yet been created for the new restaurant.

The Scotto’s are restauranteurs from New York City with a long career opening upscale Italian-inspired eateries. In Nov. 2022, they opened their first venture outside of New York in Nashville, called Luogo Italian Restaurant in the Gulch, which has already risen the ranks of popular restaurants in the Nashville food scene.

It is expected that their new project Pelato will have a similar vibe of its sister restaurants, and feature an Italian and Mediterranean menu like Luogo, which offers dishes like Fritto Misto, burrata, house-made pasta, fresh fish and chicken entrees, a dessert menu and a full bar.

Luogo, along with the Scotto’s restaurants in New York, is open for lunch and dinner service Tuesday through Sunday. It’s likely Pelato will operate on the same schedule.

What Now Nashville reached out to the Scotto’s, but they declined to comment.
