The chef-driven restaurant and bar based in Franklin, Serrato’s Steakhouse, opened its original location just two years ago. The community has embraced chef and owner Jose Serrato’s dishes so much that he’s now bringing a second location of Serrato’s to Brentwood, a nearby Nashville suburb. The address of the new location will be 214 Ward Circle, and is slated to open sometime this fall, pending permitting and construction is finished on time.
It’s likely that the Brentwood Serrato’s may open doors as early as September or October, although an exact date is too far out to determine.
What Now Nashville spoke with Serrato about what customers can expect at the new location.
“The food menu will be very similar to our original location, with only a few changes due to the larger lunch crowd we’ve recently seen,” Serrato said in a phone interview. Think gourmet pastrami sandwiches and mouth-watering turkey melts.
“It’ll be more or less the same business model. We’re really aiming for a contemporary, warm feeling in the restaurant. No dark colors, more of a welcoming and bright interior to add to the vibe of the atmosphere,” said Serrato.
Although the menu is regarded for its steak, Serrato’s also offers fresh seafood such as Maine lobster tails, shrimp, and scallops. There’s a wide variety of main courses to offer something for everyone, including barbecue ribs, chicken, burgers, flatbreads, salad, and soup. The new location will offer a full bar, showcasing some of its signature cocktails like a raspberry lemon drop martini, habanero hibiscus margarita, and apple cider bourbon.
“What will set us apart at this location is that we’re going to apply the same philosophy of going above and beyond for our guests and getting to know them by name. Word of mouth has meant our regular guests come every week, and we love that we’ve welcomed such a loyal following with our top-notch service and food. We take care of our guests and our employees, we really think that’s a crucial element to success and why we’ve never been short-staffed since we’ve opened,” Serrato said.
