According to founder and owner Khalil Rafati, a lease has been signed for Malibu-based SunLife Organics to open its first Nashville location in The Gulch as part of the new mixed-use development Prima At Paseo South Gulch, with an address near 612 8th Ave S. The location will neighbor Australian-inspired cafe Two Hands and is slated to start welcoming customers as early as spring of next year.
News of the location in The Gulch comes just after the announcement of SunLife joining the upcoming Ashwood 12 South development that What Now Nashville recently reported on, which is not set to open until 2025.
The brand focuses on promoting a holistic approach to healthy living centered on organic whole foods, along with an ethos of loving, healing, and inspiring.
“This isn’t just a juice bar, it’s a way of life fueled by the belief that you matter,” states SunLife’s website. The company’s values stem from Rafati’s own personal journey of growth, overcoming homelessness and addiction to dedicate his life to helping others. After founding a sober living facility in Malibu in 2007, Rafati joined forces with business partner Hayley Gorcey in 2011 to open the first SunLife Organics in Malibu, providing access to true nourishment to local communities.
SunLife Organics offers a variety of refreshing and nutritious smoothies, fresh-pressed juice shots, acai bowls, coffee, tea, and sweet and savory toasts.
