The locally-owned Nashville brewery TailGate will expand later this year. Its newest location is slightly outside of Nashville, opening in Antioch this fall. TailGate will join the lineup of retailers and restaurants at the future Tanger Factory Outlets location. The address of the site is 4060 Cane Ridge Parkway.
An exact grand opening date is not yet known, though September or October might be when doors open for business.
The founder, owner, and brewmaster of Nashville’s TailGate Brewery is Keegan Wesley. The brand has been in operation since 2014 and has four different taprooms in the Nashville metro area, one in Chatanooga, and one in Hendersonville.
According to permits, Wesley is also slated to open Tanger Pizza at the outlet center this fall, which is likely to be a sister concept to TailGate, as What Now Nashville previously reported.
TailGate is popular for being a Tennessee-native brand that doesn’t distribute outside the state, offering almost 40 rotating craft beers on draft and multiple canned beers for sale across a number of local retailers and grocery stores. It’s well known for its wide variety of beers, including the popular Orange Wheat Ale, TENN Gold Lager, and Howdy Cloudy Hazy Session IPA, and just recently launched a brand of hard seltzers called Nashville Hard Seltzer Co.
The Tanger Factory Outlet Mall in Antioch has been years in the making and has garnered a lot of attention around its construction. Tanger faced multiple building delays due to the Covid-19 virus in 2020, finally broke ground in May 2022, and has recently announced that Sept. 2023 is officially its targeted opening goal, as reported by local outlet WKRN.
