“Nashville, your wait is over! M Street is excited to announce that Tavern Midtown is making its highly anticipated return Spring 2024! Dive back into Midtown’s favorite destination for delicious food, refreshing drinks, and unforgettable moments, now with a fresh twist. Join us as we reopen our doors to a new and improved Tavern Midtown, ready to reignite the spirit of community and camaraderie. Stay tuned for updates,” states a Facebook post from the company.

The restaurant’s menu is craft beer-focused with a cool, casual gastropub feel. In its heyday, Tavern Midtown was known for offering generous happy hour deals like half-priced pitcher nights as well as inventive brunch dishes like Red Velvet French Toast, both of which customers have recently commented on social media asking the business if it will return.

M Street Entertainment Group, founded in 2000 by CEO Chris Hyndman, owns a few other dining concepts in Nashville, including Virago, Moto, Saint Anejo, and Kayne Prime. It’s strategized its brand around its concepts being located on the same street.

“M Street is the neighborhood where our restaurants live, located on McGavock Street between 11th and 12th Avenues in the Gulch. We are uniquely positioned with five of our restaurants within a few feet of one another, with the exception of Tavern, which is located on Broadway in Midtown,” states M Street’s website.

It appears as though an official website for Tavern Midtown has not yet been created. What Now Nashville reached out to M Street Entertainment Group for comment but did not receive a response by the time of publication. Customers should keep up to date for reopening announcements on Instagram and Facebook.
