The location is currently hiring managers and bakers and is set to open in late September. The BNA location of Voodoo Doughnut comes on the heels of a massive redesign and expansion of the airport, ushering in a few more concepts, including a Titans-themed restaurant and bar as well as a concept called Kitty Hawk Eat and Drink. Both restaurant concepts are also hiring and gearing up to open this fall.

Voodoo Doughnut was originally founded in 2003 in Portland, Oregon by old friends and entertainment-oriented Portlanders Kenneth “Cat Daddy” Pogson and Tres Shannon, according to its website. The brand now has 18 locations across the country with plans to expand even further under current CEO Chris Schultz.

“We’re super excited to partner with Max and Benjamin to bring Voodoo to the Nashville International Airport,” Schultz said in a press release. “Airports are bustling hubs of activity where people from all around the world converge. Our goal is to add some Voodoo Magic, providing travelers with an awesome selection of doughnuts while creating lasting impressions on travelers, making their journey through the airport even more memorable,” Schultz stated.

Some of Voodoo’s notable menu items include a passionfruit cheesecake doughnut, a “dirt” doughnut topped with Oreo cookie crumbs resembling soil, a bacon maple bar doughnut, cereal-topped doughnuts, as well as a slew of vegan flavors to offer options for everyone.
