A new Wendy’s construction is in the works.
An electrical permit application filed on December 8th shows that the new restaurant will be at 1006 Gant Hill Drive in Brentwood. The permit lists that it will be at Lot 2, The Shoppes and Residences at Old Burkitt. Shoppes at Old Burkitt, LLC own the parcel of land.
The new restaurant will be 6,608 square feet with a patio and a dining area.
It’s possible that the construction is related to Wendy’s of Bowling Green, Inc., a franchisee that owns multiple Wendy’s in the surrounding Nashville area, including in Franklin, Gallatin, Lebanon, and Murfreesboro.
A 2022 Franchise Disclosure Document for Wendy’s shows that the corporation owns a Wendy’s at 5640 Franklin Pike Cir, in Brentwood, about 20 minutes from this new location.
What Now reached out to Wendy’s of Bowling Green and was told by Partner and Franchisee Shawn O’Malley that: “We typically don’t share that information.”
Meanwhile, Wendy’s has listed several career openings for the new location.
It’s unclear when the new restaurant will open.
