According to a recent press release, a new boutique hotel experience is opening in early 2024 called Drift Nashville owned by TMC Hospitality. The hotel will be home to three unique dining destinations, including a cafe space called Dawn which will use beans sourced from locally-based Good Citizen Coffee Co. Located at 10 Interstate Drive near Nissan Stadium, the concept is the fourth location of TMC Hospitality’s Drift Hotels brand and the TMC’s second Nashville hotel. An exact grand opening date is forthcoming.

Drift Nashville’s three food and beverage outlets will be helmed by local restaurateur and entrepreneur Alexis Soler of Old Glory and Golden Pony, and will cater to locals and travelers alike through design, sips and shareable bites. Upon arrival, a terrazzo walkway will guide guests to Dawn, marking the café’s third location, which will serve as a place for conversation and coffee made with Good Citizen Coffee Co beans. Here, craft coffee and espresso beverages nicely pair with light menu items such as pastries, yogurt with candied pistachios and mint and pan con tomate, as stated in the press release.

Good Citizen Coffee Co. got its start in 2018 from founder Sean Stewart, as a response to the “blank space in the roasting industry in Middle Tennessee,” its website states. The company focuses on transparency and sustainability-sourced coffee beans from biodiverse farmers.
