The iconic Music City establishment The Pancake Pantry has recently announced an exciting addition to its two brick-and-mortar locations. Set to open by the new year, Pancake Pantry will debut Stacked Express by The Pancake Pantry inside the Cool Springs Galleria Mall, located at 1800 Galleria Blvd. in Franklin, as first reported by The Tennessean.
The new concept will take a more casual approach to its successful dine-in model, bringing a quick-service option to mallgoers looking for breakfast or brunch. Though an exact grand opening date has not yet been announced, the location is currently hiring and is likely to be open for business by January.
The original Pancake Pantry opened at its Hillsboro Village location in 1961 at 1796 21st Ave South, where it still serves customers today. The brand prides itself on offering everything made from scratch.
“It takes a lot of time and effort to make breakfast from scratch every morning, but we do it so you don’t have to! We make our batter, fruit compotes, and even our syrups fresh each day from secret family recipes. Honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way,” Pancake Pantry’s website states. Its menu ranges from cocktails, candied bacon, biscuits and gravy, omelettes, over 20 varieties of pacake flavors, and sandwiches for lunch service.
Its quick-serve location promises to offer a similar assortment of breakfast and lunch items, including pancakes, eggs, bacon, hash brown and grits bowls, smash burgers, BLTs, club sandwiches and more, all made-to-order and placed through a customer facing kiosk, notes the article by The Tennessean.
