Everbowl is known for its build-your-own superfood bowls, smoothies, and coffee beverages with over 70 locations across 21 states. The brand recently made headlines this year when former NFL quarterback Drew Brees signed with Everbowl to bring 150 franchise locations.

What Now Nashville spoke with local franchisee Will Melton about plans for future Nashville locations and additional details regarding the franchise.

“We have the first location open and are negotiating on a space in Franklin right now. We’re looking for a third location as well. We’re just super excited to bring a fresh new option to the dining landscape of Nashville. There are so many great restaurants, but we felt like this was a missing niche in the market,” Melton said in an email.

When asked about why he chose Everbowl, Melton described being drawn to the presentation of the bowls and the healthier option the brand brings to the table.

“My wife and I absolutely love acai bowls. She loved the bowls she would get in California and Hawaii, but couldn’t find any that tasted the same here in Nashville. We weren’t really looking to be in the restaurant business, as she is a speech pathologist and I own a construction company, but a good friend of mine became the master franchisor for several states, and posted on Facebook looking for someone who was interested in opening Everbowl in Nashville,” Melton said.

“We hopped on a phone call to discuss it, and had a chance to speak with the corporate team in California. Without ever trying the product, I was very intrigued by the presentation of the bowls. At the time, the closest location was in Orlando, so we hopped on a flight down to try it. We were blown away by how good the bowls were, all of the flavors of bases they offered, and how much it tasted just like what we experienced in California and Hawaii. We loved the idea of bringing fresh-tasting, healthy meal options to Nashville, and from there it was off to the races to find a location. We knew the Nashville market would love the product, so we decided to sign on for 5 locations around middle Tennessee,” Melton added.
